Rates

Our first session, the initial assessment, will last approximately 75 minutes. After that, individual sessions often run about 55 minutes, but may be as long as 60 minutes.  Session rates range from $80-$175. Couple sessions cost $100-$125 per hour.

 

Reduced Fee

Reduced fee services are available through a sliding scale on a limited basis.  Please ask me about them.  I want you to be able to obtain the services that you need.  If I can't fulfill that, I will be happy to refer you to another professional.

 

Insurance

I request full payment or copay at the time of service. I am in network with a handful of insurance providers. As an out-of-network provider, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I will submit your claims for you, if you prefer. Please check your coverage by calling your insurance company and asking the following questions:

 

* Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

* What is my deductible and has it been met?

* How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

* What is the coverage amount  (or %) per therapy session?

* Is approval required from my primary care physician?

* Do you accept out of network providers?

Generally, Aetna, Optum, Ithaca College CHP and EBS-RMSCO are some of the providers that have so far paid for out of network mental health services.

 

Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you do not come to your scheduled therapy appointment, and haven't notified me at least 24 hours in advance, I can't fill your session time. You may be required to pay the full cost of the session, if it wasn't due to an emergency.
